Complete redesign of the Mint Mobile website. Mint Mobile is a cellular service provider. The goals of the project included: shifting to a Premium look and feel, catering to a psychographic target – Savvy Savers, continuing the brand imagery, and providing more design consistency between pages along with an improved UI.

Role:
I worked as the lead designer, focusing on wireframing, hi-fi design of all screens, establishing a design system, and prototyping.

Outcome:
Mint Mobile showed a 12% statistically significant CVR increase for mobile visitors.
Users spent less time on the home page with lower bounce and exit rates, indicating these visitors were finding the content they were looking for more easily than original visitors.

Through the use of proven design fundamentals and UI interactions, Mint 3.0 is:
•Orderly and easily legible due to layering elements, and using limited white space. This helps the user hear our story as they scroll the pages while focusing on one section at a time.

Easy to identify areas where user interaction takes place.

Easy to navigate with natural feeling UI transitions and micro-interactions

Eye-catching through the use of animations

Consistent through structured font pairings and type choices

Visually appealing through a balanced brand color palette

Quick loading through optimized content

Governed by a DSM (Design System Manager) acting as a single source of truth to designers, developers, and stakeholders.

All of the above provide a premium look and feel to the website and brand, including better flow, consistency, and better functionality.
